BMW has the new iX3, Mercedes-Benz has the upcoming GLC, and now Volvo has the EX60. All three of these electric crossovers are expected to hit the US in the next few months, and as their production dates near, we’re getting a better idea of how the trio will stack price-wise.

In the case of the Volvo, the new EX60 starts at $59,795 for the base P6 Plus model, with the mandatory $1,395 destination fee included. Moving up to the P10 Plus with all-wheel drive brings a starting price of $62,145. The P6 Ultra, meanwhile, comes in at $66,395, and the P10 Ultra with AWD costs $68,745.

With a starting price of under $60,000 with destination for the base EX60, that puts it squarely in competition with the BMW iX3. The 50 xDrive model starts at $62,850 with destination, though it’s suspected that a cheaper variant could be on the way. The new GLC EV doesn’t have pricing yet, but we expect the electric Benz to cost around $60,000 when new.

The EX60 has three battery packs: 80.0-, 91.0-, and 112.0-kilowatt-hours, depending on how you spec it. Both single- and dual-motor models are available, with the SUV getting anywhere from 369 to 503 horsepower on P6 and P10 trims, with the P12 offering a whopping 670 horsepower. The iX3 50 xDrive gets 463 hp, by comparison, and the GLC puts out 483 hp.

Where the Benz and BMW beat Volvo, though, is in the range department. The base EX60 P6 only has 307 miles of range, while the EX60 P10 AWD has 322 miles of range. Even the range-topping P12 with AWD (which doesn’t have a price tag yet) barely cracks 400 miles. The iX3 gets 434 miles of range to start, while the GLC promises "over 400" miles when it goes on sale.

The EX60 does eke out the iX3 slightly when it comes to charging speeds, at least. The P6 recharges from 10 to 80 percent in just 16 minutes at up to 320 kilowatts, the P10 AWD also does it in 16 minutes at 370 kilowatts, and the P12 AWD gets to 80 percent in 19 minutes at 370 kilowatts. The iX3 50 xDrive gets from 10 to 80 percent in 21 minutes, by comparison.
