Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa has presented his plan for the automaker: FaSTLAne 2030. The plan includes launching more than 60 new vehicles and 50 "significant refreshes" by 2030, affecting every brand. While 29 of those vehicles will be battery-electric, the majority—39—will feature combustion engines or mild-hybrid powertrains. Twenty-four of them will be hybrid-electric vehicles, and 15 models will be plug-in hybrids or range-extended EVs.
This refocused approach will emphasize four specific brands—Jeep, Ram, Peugeot, and Fiat—with 70 percent of Stellantis’ brand and product investments directed toward them. These will become "natural first launchers for all new global assets" due to their presence.
Stellantis has 11 new vehicles planned for North America. Nine of those vehicles will start at under $40,000, with two starting at under $30,000. Chrysler will be a big focus; the brand will debut three new crossovers and even more Pacifica variants.
Chrysler's mid-size SUV option will be dubbed the Airflow, with two compact options called the Arrow and Arrow Cross. The Airflow will cost less than $40,000, while the two Arrow models will cost anywhere from $25,000 to $35,000. On the Ram side, the new Dakota pickup is expected to start at under $40,000.
Most of Stellantis' new products will ride on three global platforms, including one called STLA One, and feature a range of powertrains. The automaker will continue to invest in hybrids, battery-electric vehicles, and "highly efficient internal combustion engines." Stellantis will also rely on new partnerships with a range of companies, including Chinese ones.
