SRT has developed a new system called eBoost Air to reduce turbo lag and increase engine power in turbocharged engines. The eBoost Air system was developed in just seven weeks, and the results are impressive. In testing, the system added 90 horsepower to the high-output Hurricane engine, bringing the total power output to 640 horsepower. The system has the potential to unlock even more power with larger turbochargers. While there is no word on when the eBoost Air system will be available in production vehicles, it is likely that it will be featured in future SRT models.
