Porsche's Sonderwunsch program has created a one-off 911 Turbo S to celebrate 75 years of the brand's presence in Australia. The "Land Down Under" 911 Turbo S features a unique blend of Chromaflair paint colors, including Terra Australis Red and Southern Cross Blue, which took over 300 hours to apply by hand.
The result is a paint job that transitions from "desert orange, dusk-sky blue, eucalyptus green, and sunrise gold" depending on the angle and light. In addition to the custom paint finish, the car features Australian-themed illustrations created by Sydney-based artist Werner Bronkhorst, which are tucked into unexpected places throughout the car.

The 14,417 perforations in the seats are aligned to create a unique pattern, while Australian Silky Oak wood trim and topographical graphics of the Blue Mountains integrated into the dashboard and door panels further enhance the interior design. The embroidered headliner depicts the Southern Hemisphere night sky as it appeared over Uluru in 1951, commemorating the year Porsche officially arrived in Australia.
The 911 Turbo S is powered by a 701-horsepower hybrid powertrain, capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.0 seconds. As a one-off creation, this car is unlikely to leave Australia, but it serves as a unique example of Porsche's Sonderwunsch program and its ability to create truly bespoke vehicles.
