Vin Diesel revealed his 'family' is coming to the streaming service, and while he promised several shows, only one is confirmed. The 11th and final film in the epic Fast & Furious movie franchise isn't slated to hit theaters until March 17, 2028. Right now, that feels like forever until we finally get to find out the fate of Dominic Torreto and his "family" in the aptly titled Fast Forever. However, fans of the movies now have something else to look forward to, as executive producer and series star Vin Diesel has revealed that a new Fast & Furious spin-off series is being developed for your TV.

During the NBCUniversal upfront presentation yesterday, Diesel said, "For the last decade, we have realized that the fans have wanted more. They wanted us to expand the legacy characters, their stories. And for the last decade, the desire has been for us to enter the TV space . . . And I had to wait 'til it was right." Apparently, the light turned green when Donna Langley became the chairman of NBCUniversal, because now a Fast & Furious TV show is officially coming to Peacock.

Currently, there's no premiere date for the show, which also remains untitled for now. Although Diesel reportedly said that there will be four new shows launching on the streaming service, only one was mentioned in the official Peacock announcement. Some media outlets, including Variety, reported that a single series has been confirmed, but they mentioned that Universal TV is considering others that are in different development stages.

While we still have a lot to learn about the forthcoming Fast & Furious TV show, we at least know who will be running things. Samantha Vincent, the president of Diesel's production company, One Race Films, will join him and series stalwarts like Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Chris Morgan as executive producers. They're joined by co-showrunners Mike Daniels and Wolfe Coleman. Both worked on the TV series Shades of Blue, while Daniels was also a producer on Sons of Anarchy.
