Lamborghini is building 99 special-edition Revueltos with Miura-inspired colors, liveries, and interior details to honor the legendary Miura's 60th anniversary.
In 1966, Lamborghini broke records when it released the Miura. With a screaming V-12 and a top speed of 174 mph, the iconic supercar was once the fastest production car in the world. Sixty years later, its 6.7-second sprint to 62 mph isn't as mind-blowing, but the eyelash-equipped Lamborghini remains a legend in automotive history and perches at the top of many enthusiasts' dream car lists.
View Price on AmazonTo celebrate the Miura's 60th anniversary, Lamborghini is adding touches of vintage style to its hybrid supercar with the special edition Revuelto Miura 60° Homage.
The special Revuelto model will be offered in nine colors that mimic the original options that were available in the Miura, including the classic Rosso Arancio red. Two liveries will be offered on top of the historic colors, both inspired by original Miura options. The Oro Elios look features a gold stripe along the bottom of the car and Altanero Shiny Gold wheels, while the Grigio Nimbus livery swaps gold detailing for silver and combines it with Altanero Matt Titanium Diamond wheels.
Owners of original Miuras have even more customization options if the new lineup doesn't suit their tastes. Lamborghini's Ad Personam customization program can recreate their Miura's specific color combination for the new Revuelto Homage.
A special "Miura 60" logo hides in the livery stripe near the rear wheels, and a black Lamborghini script logo rests centered at the rear, just as it did in the original Miura. To further complement the Miura-inspired look, the special-edition Revueltos are fitted with black brake calipers and tailpipes.
Inside, the Revuelto takes more inspiration from the car that put Lamborghini on the map. Its seats are patterned to closely match the Miura's original pattern, and leather upholstery covers the dashboard, door panels, rear bulkhead, and center console. An embroidered "Miura 60" logo adorns the leather between the driver and passenger seats, and a custom carbon-fiber plaque sits flush with the driver's side door, wearing the 60th anniversary logo and a number to signify its place in the 99-car production run.
Today's Revuelto is a bit more powerful than the Miura it is honoring. Equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 and three electric motors that combine to make 1001 horsepower, the supercar can reach 60 mph in just 2.2 seconds. That's quite a step up from the original Miura's 380 horsepower V-12.
