The United States is celebrating its 250th anniversary, and several automakers have released special-edition vehicles to commemorate the occasion. Jeep has now joined in with the Wrangler America250, a limited-edition model that pays tribute to the country's birthday.
The Wrangler America250 features a unique red, white, and blue livery, which Jeep describes as "armor." The seats and soft-top are finished in Jean Blue, while the steel oxide wheels have a blue tinge. Red accents are used to tie the theme together. The interior also features the same color scheme, with the Jean Blue from the seats making its way onto the dashboard.
The Wrangler America250 is based on the Willys trim and comes with 33-inch BFGoodrich A/T tires, steel rock rails, and red front and rear tow hooks. It also features standard LED headlights and fog lights, and body-color fender flares that give it a more cohesive appearance. Each Wrangler America250 comes with a special debossed leather key tag, a Captain America shield tire cover, and a limited-edition Captain America and Jeep Wrangler America250 comic book.
The special edition is scheduled to go on sale later this summer, with an additional $2095 charge on top of the standard version. The new Jeep Wrangler America250 edition is a unique way for Jeep to celebrate America's 250th birthday, and it's sure to be a hit with fans of the brand and the country.
