Some of the nation's most iconic performance cars are seeing surprisingly little road time, according to a new report. The Ford Mustang, the Porsche 911, and the Chevrolet Corvette are three of the most highly regarded and iconic sports cars in history. Enthusiasts love them, collectors hunt for them, and pretty much everyone respects them. However, according to a new iSeeCars study, their owners don’t drive them that much.
According to the study, the average gasoline-powered passenger vehicle in America is driven 13,323 miles per year. However, the least-driven gasoline-powered vehicles are the sports cars that so many of us love. iSeeCars analyzed the odometer readings from more than 2.1 million 3-year-old cars sold in 2025 to calculate the average annual miles driven by drivetrain and model.
The sports car may be highly prized, but the study shows many are parked far more than the average vehicles. Most of them don’t even rack up half the number of miles per year as the average gasoline car does. That's probably not too surprising, given that in the winter months, many of these cars are put into storage; besides, a two-seat sports car is not exactly the most practical for taking the whole family out to dinner.
Below, then, we present the list of the top 10 least-driven gasoline-powered cars. The list includes the average miles each car is driven per year and how that compares to the average of 13,323 miles.
