Ford Is Building A 'Premium' Bronco With Filson's Help

Hot on the heels of its Super Duty collaboration with Detroit-based workwear brand Carhartt, Ford is teaming up with another historic American clothing company for a unique vehicle. This time, it’s a premium Bronco built in tandem with Pacific Northwest outdoor outfitter Filson.

The two companies released a single teaser angle showing the Bronco’s rear end and spare tire cover, which wears Bronco and Filson text on top of a metallic green color. Fender flares and knobby treads suggest that this Bronco could come with 35-inch or larger tires, such as those included in Ford’s Sasquatch package.

The automaker is keeping quiet on the details for now, ahead of the model’s full reveal on June 3. Ford says the new Bronco trim will first be available as a four-door model with a premium feel, likely carrying Filson-branded interior touches.

This isn’t the first time these two brands have teamed up. Back in 2020, they built the Ford Bronco x Filson Wildland Fire Rig, which supported forest firefighting and wildlife conservation. That truck was a one-off concept, but Ford donated two similarly equipped Broncos to rural firefighting crews, and Filson dropped a limited-run capsule collection to benefit the effort.

Unlike that effort, the Filson Bronco will be a production model available to customers in early 2027. There’s no word yet on powertrain availability or pricing, but a 2026 Bronco Badlands with the 2.3-liter Ecoboost four-cylinder starts at $58,320, and the same truck with the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 costs $61,115.

As the Filson aims to lure in premium buyers, an educated guess would put pricing in the high $60,000 or low $70,000 range, undercutting the Bronco Raptor’s $83,080 base MSRP. We should find out more about the details of the collaboration on June 3.

Motor1’s Take: The Ford Bronco and Filson are two American icons. This collaboration makes sense, especially in light of Ford wanting to take the Bronco upmarket and offer a unique 4x4 experience while competing with brands like Land Rover and Ineos.
