What is news is that Bugatti now offers a new configuration tool for Veyron owners who want to change the color, trim, or interior on a car they already own or recently purchased on the used market.
The Veyron was introduced in 2005, and at that time, it was a game-changer in the automotive world. With its 1,001 horsepower and top speed of 253 mph, it was the first production car to break the 1,000 horsepower barrier. Today, used Veyron prices average $2.1 million, and with only 450 made during its 10-year production run, finding one for sale can be a challenge.
That's where the new configurator comes in. It allows Veyron owners to customize their cars with modern trends or to match new purchases, such as the Tourbillon. The configurator offers 18 different sections, each with up to a dozen sub-sections for choosing paint, carbon fiber, colored carbon fiber, secondary paint colors, wing colors, and more.

The configurator will go live this summer, available through Bugatti dealerships or to customers with a Bugatti log-in. In the meantime, I got an early preview and was able to create my dream Veyron with the help of Sarah Tupi, a Bugatti sales manager who has walked more than 150 customers through the bespoking process.
As I scrolled through the options, I was amazed at the level of detail and customization available. From choosing the perfect thread color to match my cocoa-leather quilted interior to selecting the color of the emergency flasher button, every aspect of the car can be tailored to my taste. And with the ability to add custom options like color-matching or personalized messages, the possibilities are endless.
