A California man has filed a class-action lawsuit against Ford, claiming the company owes customers a share of $1.3 billion in tariff pricing refunds. The plaintiff, Jason Bullock, purchased a Mustang Mach-E SUV in February, which he claims was impacted by Ford's pricing adjustments due to tariffs.
The lawsuit alleges that Ford passed extra costs onto customers by raising prices and destination fees on vehicles assembled in Mexico, such as the Mustang Mach-E. After the Supreme Court struck down the Trump administration's tariff policy, the federal government agreed to issue a refund on previously paid import duties.

The lawsuit highlights the fact that Ford has not made any statements regarding "consumer-facing price reduction" related to the new tariff situation, nor has the automaker suggested that it will offer refunds or credits to impacted buyers.
