Cadillac is reviving two gas-powered SUVs that were previously discontinued. The luxury brand is bringing back the XT5 and XT6, which will be powered by gas engines. This move comes just over a year after the XT6 was discontinued due to limited space in the lineup for another three-row SUV alongside the popular Escalade and the then-new Vistiq.
The XT6 was not a sales failure when it was discontinued, with over 20,000 units sold in its final model year. The XT5, on the other hand, was less successful, with just over 2,700 units sold. Despite this, Cadillac believes there is still demand for gas-powered SUVs, which is why the XT5 and XT6 are being revived.
