Land Rover's second electric offering is coming in the form of its mid-size Range Rover Sport SUV. The electric variant of the Range Rover Sport is said to offer up to 542 horsepower and a driving range that should top 300 miles per charge.
While the Range Rover Sport Electric's powertrain is certainly a departure from the Sport's normal propulsion method, the rest of the package is strikingly similar to the gas-powered model. A unique closed-off grille element and lack of exhaust pipes are the only hints at what lies under the electric model's hood.

The Range Rover Sport Electric is a new model for Land Rover, even if it will look almost identical to the current gas-powered model. Land Rover hasn't said when the SUV will go into production, but it could be as soon as the 2027 calendar year.
