Plenty of Super Duty owners already wear Carhartt. Now, they can have a truck that shows off their love for the brand. I was 17 years old when I got my first Carhartt jacket. It was the fall of senior year of high school, and—this being 2004—I was on the hunt for a trademark garment like that worn by Clark Kent on Smallville, where Tom Welling's character was seen most episodes in thematically appropriately red or blue outerwear.
That blue denim coat lasted me more than 20 years, taking the brunt of fall, winter and spring in places as varied as the concrete canyons of Manhattan and the icy mountains of Montana. It's now parked in the back of my closet, its skin worn through too much for use in decent settings but otherwise as warm and sturdy as the day it came out of the store.
Suffice it to say, I can promise that Carhartt's reputation for hard-working gear is well-earned—so it seems like a natural fit to see the apparel maker teaming up with another of Michigan's legendary brands to create a new option pack for the Ford F-Series Super Duty. The Carhartt Package is available on XLT-trim trucks with four-wheel-drive and the single-rear-wheel setup.
From the outside, the most notable changes are a set of off-road running boards and sweet-looking 20-inch machined wheels with a design inspired partly by Detroit-area manhole covers wrapped in 275/65/20 all-terrain tires; look closer, and you might also notice a special dark-colored grille up front and unique LED lighting elements such as fog lamps and roof markers.
No branding partnership edition vehicle would be complete without a couple extra badges, mind you, and so the rig also adds a few Carhartt logos to the truck's look, specifically on the standard spray-in bedliner, tailgate, doors, and fenders.
The bigger changes, arguably, are found inside, where the seats are upholstered in a new cloth trim boasting the triple-stitch construction that stands as a Carhartt trademark; likewise, the door trim panels, center console lid, and map pockets have also been customized. There are also heavy-duty floor mats to keep dirt and mud from infiltrating the cabin's softer materials ... and of course, a fair share of Carhartt logos dappled throughout the interior.
The Super Duty Carhartt Package can be ordered starting tomorrow, May 8th; pricing has not been made available as of this story's initial publication, but you should presumably be able to find it on Ford's online configurator once the 2027 model year version goes live.
