See the exterior of the 2025 Porsche Taycan 4 from every angle. The Porsche Taycan 4 was a new model for 2025, conferring dual-motor all-wheel drive onto the base model of Porsche's electric sedan. The Porsche Taycan 4 uses two electric motors to produce 429 horsepower and 449 pound-feet of torque.
At the test track, we recorded a 4.0-second sprint to 60, besting Porsche's own estimate by 0.4 second. Even with a two-speed transmission in the rear, on-ramp squirts prove quick; accelerating from 30 to 50 only takes 1.6 seconds.
The EPA estimates a 294-mile range, but considering a Taycan 4S (estimate: 295 miles) managed 330 miles on our highway test, we expect the Taycan 4 to exceed its federal estimate too. Even the base AWD Taycan can take a corner, gripping our skidpad with a solid 0.96 g of lateral stick.
